People Are Horrible, Life Sucks, We’re All Going To Die

If you watch the news or read the headlines, this is the subliminal message you’re going to get:

People are hidden thieves, rapists, and murderers. The government sucks, our infrastructures are crap, our neighboring countries are bullies and everyone hates us…

On and on in an endless stream of depressing stories designed to make you sit up straight and listen to the news anchor’s every word.

And in case you missed it, they’ll say the same thing in the morning, in the noontime news, and at night the next day where they will rehash all the horrible crimes and accidents that happened in the last 24 hours.

Life (Here! Now!) is extremely dangerous.

Your house is not secure.

Your children will get sick.

People are horrible! Life sucks! We’re all going to die!
